Char Dham (Uttarakhand)
Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar
Arrive in Haridwar, a sacred city on the banks of the Ganges River. Check-in to your hotel and rest for a while. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, a mesmerizing ritual on the riverbank. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot (Yamunotri)
After breakfast, drive to Barkot, a town in Uttarkashi district. On the way, visit Kempty Falls and enjoy the natural beauty. Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot to Yamunotri and back
Early morning, start the trek or take a pony/horse ride to Yamunotri. Visit the Yamunotri Temple and take a holy dip in the Yamuna River. Trek back to Barkot and overnight stay.
Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi (Gangotri)
After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, a town on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Visit the Vishwanath Temple and other attractions in Uttarkashi. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Uttarkashi to Gangotri and back
Early morning, proceed to Gangotri by car. Visit the Gangotri Temple and take a dip in the holy Bhagirathi River. Return to Uttarkashi and stay overnight.
Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi
After breakfast, drive to Guptkashi, a significant stopover on the way to Kedarnath. Visit the ancient Vishwanath Temple in Guptkashi. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 7: Guptkashi to Kedarnath and back
Early morning, start your journey to Kedarnath. You can trek 16 km to Kedarnath or opt for a helicopter ride (subject to availability). Visit the Kedarnath Temple and seek blessings of Lord Shiva. Return to Guptkashi for an overnight stay.
Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath
After breakfast, proceed to Badrinath, a town located on the banks of the Alaknanda River. On the way, visit the famous Mana Village, the last village on the Indo-Tibetan border. Explore the Badrinath Temple and take a dip in the Tapt Kund. Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 9: Badrinath to Haridwar
Early morning, attend the special morning Aarti at the Badrinath Temple. After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar. Reach Haridwar by evening and the tour concludes.
